Hudson River at Piermont
If you walk out on the jetty it takes you into the Hudson River and you can see the Palisades to the North and New York City way to the South. The walk is wonderful, quiet and surrounded by tall grasses and birds. After last weeks devastating ice and snow storm the weather has been mild, like spring almost. We lost power 36 hours, some still don't have it. Had to get up early to paint and, no computer to post or work on ebooks. Realize how much we take for granted with our cell phones, and computers. Even street lights at night. Stopped at a Starbucks, one of the few places with power and wifi and people flocked there, were doubled up waiting for turns to plug in their devices.
