Paint wood furniture with spring flowers

Iris and Morning Glory Chest by Maud Guilfoyle
I painted this wood chest with acrylic paint. It had been sanded and painted with semigloss latex paint before I worked on it. It is a little tricky if you are not used to painting on very smooth surfaces. I like to paint on Ampersand clay board (now called Ampersand Aquaboard) which has the smoothest surface I know of in panels. I paint on these with both acrylic and water based oils as this particular board receives water based paint. For oil paint use Ampersand Gesso board or try their new series of panels with a smooth surface.

  2. Some of the racks even double as benches or are neatly built into the bottom of cabinets, making it easy to fit them into your bedroom or closet. Best wood shoe rack
