Paisley Shawl II © Maud Guilfoyle

When I begin a new e book I create two main files, one for images and one for text. I gather all the images I might put in the e book, format them into 72 pixels and 550 pixels wide. When I have finished the text, first, second, third draft, I insert the images. Then proofing begins in earnest, sometimes adding images or taking them out.
