Give yourself a gift of better drawing skills

While juggling your every day activities with holiday extras, take just ten minutes a day and draw an object- a favorite cup, chair, kitchen colander or whatever you find before you. Use what you have at hand- ball point pen, pencil, marker and note the date on back. Keep the drawings in a folder or drawer. Think of it as you would think of piano practice. Try to do this at the same time each day. Early is better before the to do lists take over. This simple practice will sharpen your perspective skills, observation, hand-eye coordination and the added benefit is that you will be mindfully in the moment.

  1. Maud - I've got a problem with your nomination of Jeremy Miranda. I can' t identify the painting or the blog post from the information you supplied on http://makingamark.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/MAM2013-best-landscape-on-artblog.html

Can you please identify the painting asap please TODAY (I'm writing nomination posts right now).

I need the specific date - the one you gave does not correspond to a blog post
the specific title and the URL for the blog post
